Portfolio Sites

Attached are sites that I found.
www.joolz.fr/folio/
This site has a modern artistic feel to it. I like the mix of wildlife and illustration. The muted dark grey in the background is interesting, but doesn't take away from the purpose of the page. What I don't like the is this designer's repetition of style. After viewing a few of these designs, they begin to look alike.

Emil's site is simple, easy to use, interesting. I also like the way the designer uses small rectangles to display his work, it's almost as if the pieces are playing peek-a-boo with the visitor.

www.robpatti.com
Robbie has a postcard design as the homepage. It's very interesting, yet not overwhelming. Unfortunately, he hasn't put much work on the site, so it's quick to go through and none of the work is spectacular enough to keep me interested in pursuing him further.

www.susanengel.co.uk/portfolio/web.htm
Susan's site has an interesting graphic at the top, but most of the site fades away into the background. Not very captivating. The work opens from the thumbnail only slightly larger than the thumbnail. Hard to read. BUT she did a great job at explaining the design problem.

Matt also has a simple easy to use site. His designs are very much the same. He uses the same elements over and over and over (see the t-shirt designs). I like the thumbnails displays, he gives an interesting look at a portion of the final product, which tempt me to click and look at the entire image.
